How Realtors Can Leverage Inbound Marketing
Per the rules of the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC), every two years all licensees are required to submit sixteen hours of real estate continuing education hours (10 elective and 6 mandatory TREC CORE) to renew their real estate license. Licensees can choose from any TREC-approved real estate course for their 10 elective hours. The 16 hours must be completed on or before the expiration date of the license.

The Strategic Inbound Marketing program develops the skills real estate professionals need to actively recruit business leads via social media platforms. The course assists in the development of the participant’s brand and aims to teach licensees how to create and curate content to showcase their knowledge to clients and business leads. Proper use of Inbound Marketing tactics allows real estate professionals to engage with their audience directly to share important and pertinent information.
Per TREC Rule 1260-05.03, Participants must:
- Attend a minimum requirement of eighty percent of the course.
- Complete a comprehensive final examination (or equivalent measure of achievement) with at least a seventy percent passing rate.
After the successful completion of the course, the Center for Executive Education will load the licensee’s continuing education credits into the TREC system within 10 business days.
